Raspberry jam
This is a seedless raspberry jam. The raspberry is a very fragile fruit but very easy to freeze. This recipe of raspberry jam can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Ingredients :
- Sugar: 900 gr
- Raspberry: 1000 gr

- Remove the stalks of the raspberries, wash carefully and drain them.
- An option: To get a seedless raspberry jam, heat the raspberries in a large cooking pot. When it comes to a boil, remove it from the heat and pass the raspberries through a sieve.
- When the fruits have been passed, weight the purée obtained and the seeds remaining in the sieve.
Mix the sugar and the raspberry purée into the cauldron and heat again. - Boil for 15 minutes stirring and skimming occasionally. A scum can form on top. You can take it off with a slotted spoon.
- To find out when the raspberry jam is ready, you can do the cold plate test: this test is to put a drop of jam on the cold plate, if it stays, it is ready.
- Pour into boiled jam jars, close immediately and turn them upside down on a cloth before flipping over and store them when they are cold.
